Our story begins in two different places, far apart on the map but deeply connected by food. Antonio grew up in Sicily, surrounded by tradition, family tables, and the unmistakable soul of Italian cuisine. Alejandra was raised in Mexico, where bold flavors, warmth, and hospitality are a way of life.
Individually, we each found our way into the hospitality industry, learning, growing, and dreaming, with one shared goal quietly taking shape: to one day open our own restaurant.
Years later, life brought us together in an unexpected place. From that moment on, everything changed. What started as a shared passion became a shared life and the rest is history.
Together, we moved to California, carrying our cultures, experiences, and dreams with us. Side by side, we worked toward something bigger than either of us had imagined alone. That dream became Amuri.
Amuri means love in Sicilian. It represents family, tradition, passion, and the joy of gathering around the table.
Amuri is a reflection of our journey. Built on tradition, fired by passion, and shared like family.
Amuri is about moments. Private gatherings. Celebrations.
Simple tables that turn into memories.
Whether it’s a pop-up, a private event, or catering, our goal is always the same:
to bring people together through honest food and shared time.
